Last night my girlfriend and I were out on a nice relaxing cruise in the Z, just driving and enjoying life. It was a beautiful way to end a great day. Afterwards, I came back to drop her off where her car was then sat and waited for her before I pulled out onto the service road. Low and behold she backed into a pole and it shattered her rear window and put a nice 1/2" deep/2" long dent on the left side right underneath where the rear window inserts. (She drives a 2000 Explorer). Would it be best to get this fixed at a dealership, a local garage, or could I do it myself? I think that because the dent goes into where the window inserts, it'll have to be smoothed out so that it can go back in which I'm not adept at doing. What price range am I looking at? ~$500.00? The night was going so well...I'm sorry that it happened to her car, but I'm glad it wasn't the Z!
